Even though the world was hit with the COVID-19 pandemic, we would not let it stop us from having a healthy high adventure trip. On 8/20/20, we started our trip at the Attean Landing Boat Launch in Jackman,Maine. The first day included a tough 1.25 mile portage. Dinner was BBQ Chicken, stuffing, and corn on the cob. It rained on Friday which made for some wet gear. We had a .25 mile portage. Dinner was spaghetti and meatballs. Saturday was gorgeous weather and we spent some time swimming. We paddled through Spencer Rips. Sunday was an easy day and we arrived back at the landing early, having completed the 38 mile Bow Loop at Moose River!
